When requesting a new Route Code from the PMS Service Desk, you MUST specify which range applies.

TOCs must apply to the PMS Service Desk for a code allocation before submitting a request to LENNON.

The range of Route Codes to select from, can be determined using the following business rules:

Please Note: For any Route Code selected - use previously deleted or not yet created.

If the Route is NOT an ‘Advance Purchase’ ORCATS Allocation OR the Route is a TOC Specific ORCATS Allocation

Then use range 00000 – 00399 or 00500 – 00999

If Route will be an ‘Advance Purchase’ ORCATS Allocation

Then use range 00400 – 00499

If the Route is for OYSTER PAYGO Top Up

Then use range 30000 – 30099.

If Route is for Alternate Availability Seasons

Then use range 40000 – 40299.

When making the request to PMS you should also specify whether the code is Rail Geographic, Rail Non-Geographic or Non-Rail.

If there are no codes available within the ranges above and a code is required between 01001 – 99999 (excluding 30000 – 30099 and 70000 – 79999) then contact the LENNON Service for advice to achieve desired allocation.

DO NOT create a Route in the range 70000 – 79999 as these are set aside for LENNON use in PAYGO.
