PMS and RCS Service Desk

Two NLCs have been allocated for Luton Airport in CORPUS at different times and for different purposes:

157000 was created for timetables purposes to show a bus link, whilst 366700 was created for fares and ticket issuing. That two NLCs exist is a consequence of them being requested by different organisations at different times.

Though 157000 appears as a non-rail station in PMS it serves no purpose and its TIPLOC and CRS Code have been attached to the Location data for 366700 instead. This allows combined fares & timetable enquiries to be shown in retail systems where travel on the bus link from Luton Airport Parkway is included in the fare.

Fares to Luton Airport using bus links from Milton Keynes Central (K04200) and Hitchin (90900) are Journey Based Entitlements, so enquiries in retail systems for those promotions will only show timetables for the rail element of the journey.
