When a Fixed Links Results screen is displayed, any Origin or Destination code that has been had its description changed at some stage may show the Expired location name rather than the current Live location name. NLC 493500 is an example of this:


493500 was originally used for American Express but was reused to represent the London Overground platforms at Whitechapel. If you tick the check box, and then click on the View fixed link button, the current name will be displayed:



That this happens in PMS is a consequence of the way that some location data is linked for fares purposes.


All known examples as at May 2017 were rectified, but instances may occur again in the future if any location code has its name amended or if it is reassigned. PMS users who find such instances should report the fixed link to the Support Desk – requesting that link should be re-validated and submitted.
