In common with many of the other modules in PMS, the editing screen in the Maintain Manual Services section allows the End Date to be set “until further notice”:
In the data file exported to journey planners this translates to 31/12/9999.
As that date is not recognised in most public-facing systems any services containing it will not be shown in passenger enquiries. It is therefore essential that a proper end date is entered in this screen.
